BC Garn Semilla Melange (50g)

Want a yarn that’s about as versatile as it gets? Semilla Melange by BC Garn is an absolute cracker of a yarn; a beautifully rustic, woollen-spun delight that’s soft and full of depth. With a lovely texture and decent yardage, this is a yarn that gives you a lot of bang for your buck.

Unlike worsted yarns which have neatly combed fibres lying parallel, Semilla is woollen spun so the fibres are left to lie a little more randomly to create that lovely lofty volume that's just perfect for snuggly cardigans, sweaters, and more.

The recommended needle size on this one is around 3.5-4mm to give a slightly denser knitted fabric, but as we always say, you'll wanna swatch before casting anything on to see what works best for you.

The raw wool for Semilla Melange comes from mulesing-free farms in Argentina and is spun and dyed in Turkey according to GOTS guidelines. Each stage of the production process is audited and certified according to GOTS criteria. From the contented sheep in the pasture to the dyes, spinning process, energy and resource consumption, and last but not least, the well-being of all employees along the entire production chain.
