The Friday Sweater is worked from the top down in broken rib with raglan increases. The neck edge is worked in rib and folded. Cuffs and hem are also worked in rib.

Gauge: 28 sts x 44 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] in broken rib on 3 mm [US2½] needles after wash and blocking. Note, that the gauge before washing will be approx. 35 sts in 10 cm [4 inches]

Needles: Circular needles: 3 mm [US2½] / 40 and 60 cm [16 and 24 inches] and 2.5 mm [US1½] / 40 or 60 cm [16 or 24 inches]; Double-pointed needles: 2.5 mm [US1½] and 3 mm [US2½] (unless the Magic Loop technique is used)

Materials: 94 (103) 113 (124) 145 (149) 155 (172) 186 (198) 210 g Sunday by Sandnes Garn (50 g = 235 m [257 yds]) for the main color of the sweater and 22 (25) 29 (34) 41 (44) 47 (53) 58 (60) 66 g Sunday by Sandnes Garn (50 g = 235 m [257 yds]) for the stripes.
